Taoist Chinese Medicine

Practiced for over 1700 years, Fengyang traditional Chinese medicine was developed by Dong Feng (220-280 AD). As practitioners today, we follow the same high standards of holistic healing techniques focused on the patient.

Michelle Zemba

Michelle Zemba began her journey with "Qi" while on a military tour in Japan . She learned about the intimate blend of self awareness, movement and energy and became intrigued with the relationship between nature and the body; life force and the ability to use this energy or "Qi" to aid in the health of the mind, body and spirit.

Her special interest is centered around cultivating good health and vitality with Tai Chi, Qi Gong, Tui Na, Massage Therapy, Meditation and other self health practices. Michelle Zemba delivers a fun and passionate perspective of traditional eastern theory and movement with a soft mix of western touch.

Services I offer

Fengyang Tui Na

Tui Na (pronounced “twee nah”)  is a very important aspect of Fengyang Chinese Medicine. Tui Na is a hands-on massage therapy technique that works into the bioelectric system of the body, which is the energy system of the body. Chinese medicine believes that when the energy is correct, there can be no problem in the body.

Qi Gong Treatment

Treat your body to total health with a Qi Gong Treatment where the body is looked at as a whole and treated as one. Qi Gong therapy listens to the body's systems and clears areas of restriction (often tender) using light massage in conjunction with acupressure points along the meridian lines. Your Qi Gong treatment also provides you with slow easy movements, breathing techniques and dietary suggestions to implement into your daily life to strengthen the body from the inside out.

Tai Chi With Me

Class is designed to cultivate and open the flow of Qi in the body. What does this mean? Tai Chi With Me soothes tight muscles, relieves stress and tension and balances the body's systems by increasing circulation and calming the mind. This helps increase range of motion and flow of oxygen and "feel good" hormones in the body and brain- Tai Chi With Me is fun. There's nothing to learn or remember.

Stay Healthy All Year- Tai Chi With Me!
